About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Mathematics Teacher to join a supportive team at a well-established school in Wednesbury. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students who require additional support in their learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated Mathematics lessons to meet the needs of SEN students
- Adapt teaching strategies to support a range of learning difficulties, including autism, ADHD, and dyslexia
- Create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with SEN specialists, teaching assistants, and parents to support student progress
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, ensuring each learner reaches their full potential
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience working with SEN students, preferably in a school setting
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics and the ability to teach across a range of abilities
- Patience, resilience, and a passion for inclusive education
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
