As a Midday Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting students during their lunchtime period, ensuring a safe, orderly, and enjoyable environment for all. Your main duties will include:
- Supervising students in the dining hall, playground, and other communal areas.
- Ensuring that school policies regarding behaviour and safety are upheld during lunchtime.
- Assisting with the organisation and flow of students in and out of dining areas.
- Addressing any minor issues or incidents promptly and reporting them to the appropriate staff members.
- Supporting students who may need additional assistance during lunch including personal care
- Contributing to a positive and inclusive school atmosphere.
Essential Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage positively with students and staff.
- The ability to manage groups of students effectively, ensuring a calm and safe environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and dealing with minor incidents.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- A valid DBS certificate or willingness to undergo the necessary checks.
All rates are inclusive of holiday pay
