CERT Solutions are working in partnership with a Special School based in Sheldon who are looking for a full time SEMH Teacher.
About the role
The role is a temporary position teaching KS3 SEN Students with social, emotional and mental health needs ages 5 – 14.
Pay:
From £155 – £220 per day
What you’ll Do:
- Plan and deliver engaging, interactive lessons that meet the individual needs of students with SEMH needs.
- Create a supportive and nurturing learning environment to help students thrive academically and personally.
- Work with support staff, parents, and external professionals to implement individual education plans.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
- Monitor and report on student progress, celebrating achievements and addressing challenges
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience working with students with SEMH needs, ideally in a specialist or inclusive setting.
- Strong behavior management skills and a patient, empathetic approach.
- A passion for helping young learners reach their potential
