CERT Solutions are working in partnership with an outstanding secondary school in Aston, Birmingham who require a member of staff to support in their pastoral department.

About the role

The role is a temporary position as its covering an absent member of staff. You will be required to support for a minimum of 6 weeks. The role will be full time 8:20 to 15:30 Monday to Friday.

A Bit about the school:

The school is a small secondary based in Aston. They are rated Outstanding by Ofsted and have great transport links. Furthermore, they have a fantastic team and supportive departments.

Pay:

Paid via PAYE £120 to £150 per day

What you’ll Do:

  • Supporting students with emotional, social, and behavioral difficulties.
  • Working alongside teachers and parents to create individual care plans for students.
  • Promoting mental health and well-being initiatives within the school environment

Requirements:

  • A recognized qualification – Ideally a degree
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and a drive to continually improve
  • Relevant experience, preferably in a secondary school setting.
