CERT Solutions are a family run 5* education agency that specialise in flexible day cover, short/long term roles, as well as fixed term contracts and permanent positions also.
We work with a mix of primary, secondary, PRU and SEN settings across Birmingham/Sandwell/Dudley and surrounding areas.
We are working with a warm and wonderful primary school near the Tipton area, that are looking for a PRIMARY SEN TA to join the team on a long term basis, starting ASAP.
You would be working with a mix of primary aged students in the focus provision and resource base attached to the school.
To be considered you must have a experience working with SEN (ideally autism and non verbal). You will also require a UK (L2/L3) teaching assistant qualification or similar (childcare/health&social care accepted). If you are a childcare practitioner or teaching assistant looking to start a new role in January, we would love to hear from you!
The successful candidate will essentially have:
- A UK (L2/L3) teaching assistant qualification or similar (childcare/health&social care accepted)
- Clear DBS on the update service (If not, a DBS can be applied for a fee)
- Makaton experience or knowledge due to needs of students
- Experience or knowledge about special educational needs
- Availability to work between 8:30-3:30 Mon – Fri
Your responsibilities will be:
- To support students with SEND in EYFS resource base
- Support whole class, as well as some small group work
- Follow the behavioural policies set by the school
- Ensuring the safeguarding of pupils always
