CERT Solutions have the pleasure of recruiting a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant for a friendly special school based in Harborne.
We have an opportunity available that would suit a kind natured individual who can demonstrate both patience and understanding. If you have a passion for supporting children with special educational needs and enjoy making a difference to a child’s learning and development then this may be the role for YOU. Must have general knowledge of SEN with a calming nature. Ideal candidate should hold a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
What we need from you:
- 1:1 SEN teaching assistant or care experience
- Desired candidate should have calming nature and patience
- General knowledge of SEN + experience with children/young people with SEN
- Able to obtain at least 1 UK based reference – we need to cover 2 years employment
- Happy to work with mixed ages KS2-KS4 (older students will be working at primary level)
- UK qualification – Level 2/3 or above in teaching assistant, childcare or health and social care
