CERT Solutions are a family run 5* education agency that specialise in flexible day cover, short/long term roles, as well as fixed term contracts and permanent positions also. We work with a mix of primary, secondary, PRU and SEN settings across Birmingham/Sandwell/Dudley and surrounding areas.
We are working with a mainstream secondary school in the Kidderminster area that are looking for full time or part time cover supervisors to help cover lessons across the school. They also have permanent positions available for the right candidates!
The lessons are planned for by the class teacher, so there will be no need for you to plan or mark. Simply a case of providing general covering of the lesson, ensuring strong classroom management and supporting students in KS3/4 or 5. To be considered you must have a UK Degree qualification (any subject). Working as a Cover Supervisor would be perfect for individuals who are aspiring to become a teacher or who are looking for flexible work around studies or other work commitments.
The successful candidate will essentially have:
- Any UK Degree and UK work experience with young people
- Clear DBS on the update service (If not, a DBS can be applied for)
- Knowledge of UK curriculum would be helpful but not required
- Available to work in Stourbridge or surrounding areas
Your responsibilities will be:
- To teach students to a high standard in mainstream secondary
- Follow the behavioural policies set by the school
- Ensuring the safeguarding of pupils always
- Cover class teacher absences (could be short or long term)
