Are you a passionate Food Technology Teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) looking for an exciting new opportunity?
About the Role
Starting in January 2025, you will be responsible for teaching Food Technology across various year groups, fostering a love for the subject and helping students develop essential culinary skills. You’ll have access to modern teaching facilities and support from a collaborative team, committed to delivering high-quality education.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning and delivering engaging Food Technology lessons
- Developing students’ practical skills and understanding of nutrition, health, and food science
- Preparing students for GCSE assessments (if applicable)
- Contributing to the school community, including events and extracurricular activities related to Food Technology
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
- A strong background in Food Technology, Home Economics, or a related subject
- Passion for teaching and inspiring students in practical and theoretical aspects of food
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- A commitment to the school’s ethos and the ability to work well within a team
