Our education recruitment agency is excited to announce a new opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated Secondary School ICT Teacher to join our team of outstanding educators, filling vital roles in schools across the region.
The Role
This role involves providing supply cover at a variety of secondary schools, helping students engage with the dynamic subjects of ICT and Computer Science. As a supply teacher with us, you’ll deliver engaging lessons based on existing lesson plans, ensuring students stay on track with their curriculum. Whether you’re covering for short-term needs or supporting through a longer placement, your role will be to foster a positive learning environment, maintain classroom structure, and inspire students to explore and understand technology.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons in ICT and Computer Science to secondary school students (ages 11-16).
- Support the progression of students by adapting to each school’s unique learning environment.
- Ensure classroom management is maintained, creating an engaging and safe learning space.
- Work collaboratively with the school’s teaching staff, sharing observations and feedback where required.
- Encourage students to explore technology through practical, hands-on activities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialization in ICT/Computer Science.
- Experience teaching ICT and/or Computer Science at the secondary level.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and a strong classroom presence.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
