Are you a passionate and dedicated Full Time Mathematics Teacher looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners? A vibrant and well-established secondary school in Smethwick is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Mathematics Teacher to join their team, with an immediate start.
This is a full-time, long-term position with the opportunity for a permanent position within the school for the right candidate.
About the Role
- Teach engaging and interactive lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, ensuring students gain a solid foundation and confidence in mathematics.
- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons that cater to a variety of learning abilities and needs, aligning with the national curriculum.
- Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback to help each learner reach their full potential.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and development opportunities to support your professional growth.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to foster a supportive and inclusive school environment.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching mathematics in a UK secondary school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge in mathematics, with the ability to teach up to GCSE level.
- A commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to build rapport with students.
- A proactive, motivated approach to helping students succeed in their mathematical learning journey.
