Are you a creative and innovative educator with a passion for design and engineering? We are looking for an enthusiastic Design and Technology Teacher to join a vibrant school in Wolverhampton, starting in January 2025. If you are committed to inspiring the next generation of designers, engineers, and problem solvers, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Design and Technology curriculum
- Inspire creativity and develop students’ practical skills in areas such as product design, materials, electronics, and engineering
- Use a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and abilities
- Ensure health and safety procedures are followed in practical lessons
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support improvement
- Work collaboratively with the department to develop engaging projects and activities
About You:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
- Strong knowledge of the Design and Technology curriculum
- Passion for teaching and the ability to motivate and challenge students
- Excellent classroom management skills and a positive approach to behaviour management
- Commitment to professional development and fostering a love for learning in students
