Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs (SEN)? CERT Solutions are searching for multiple SEN Teaching Assistants for schools around Aston and Lozells.
As an SEN TA, you will work closely with classroom teachers to support students with various learning needs, including Autism, ADHD, and other learning or behavioral challenges. You will help create a positive and inclusive environment, ensuring that every child can reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support individual or small groups of SEN students in the classroom
- Assist with tailored learning activities and interventions
- Help manage classroom behavior and promote engagement
- Work closely with teachers and SEN coordinators to implement support plans
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with SEN (in a school or care setting)
- Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
- Flexibility to work on short-term or long-term placements, often at short notice
- Relevant Level 3 qualification (essential)
