CERT Solutions are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Sociology/Psychology Teacher to provide short-term cover (2 months) at a dynamic and supportive mainstream secondary school (located near Bartley Green). This is a full-time role teaching A-Level classes, ideal for someone passionate about education and committed to helping students succeed during this crucial time in their academic journey.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established school with a reputation for academic excellence. If you are passionate about teaching and can commit to this short-term cover from 18th October to 20th December, we would love to hear from you ASAP!
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective Sociology and Psychology lessons to A-Level students.
- Prepare students for assessments and coursework in line with the UK curriculum.
- Monitor and support the academic progress of students, ensuring individual learning needs are met.
- Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualifications.
- Experience teaching A-Level Sociology/Psychology in a UK setting.
- DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
- Available on the dates specified (Mon-Fri 8:30-3:30).
