Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic French Teacher to support at a well-regarded mainstream secondary school near Dudley.
This is a long-term cover position starting ASAP, offering a fantastic opportunity to inspire and educate KS3 students in the French language.
You will be expected to teach 2 days per week (Wednesday and Thursday) on an ongoing basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective French lessons to students in KS3 on a part time basis.
- Plan, prepare, and assess students’ work in line with the UK national curriculum.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student learning and development.
- Monitor and report on students’ progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- A degree in French or a related subject or relevant experience.
- Experience teaching/tutoring French at the secondary school level.
- DBS on update service required due to immediate start
