Role: ICT Teacher
Location: Secondary School (details provided upon application)
Schedule: 5 days per week
Start Date: ASAP

About the Role:

As an ICT teacher, you will play a crucial role in inspiring the next generation of tech-savvy students. Your primary responsibility is to deliver engaging lessons that cover key aspects of ICT, including digital literacy, computer science, coding, and technology applications. You’ll help students understand how technology works and equip them with the skills needed to thrive in an increasingly digital world.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver High-Quality Lessons: Teach a range of ICT topics, including coding, software applications, hardware, networking, and online safety.
  • Develop Engaging Curriculum: Plan and prepare lessons that are creative, engaging, and aligned with the school’s curriculum.
  • Inspire and Motivate: Encourage students to explore and develop their skills in technology, helping them to achieve their full potential.
  • Assess and Support: Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help them improve.
  • Stay Updated: Keep up with the latest technology trends and integrate new digital tools into your teaching practice.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with colleagues to create a positive learning environment and share best practices.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified ICT teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching ICT at the secondary level.
  • Strong subject knowledge with the ability to teach up to GCSE level (or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for teaching technology.
  • Able to start immediately and commit to 5 days per week.
