CERT Solutions are working with a vibrant and friendly primary school located in the heart of Tipton, dedicated to creating a safe and engaging environment for students. The school are looking are looking for a caring and reliable individual to join the school as a Lunchtime Supervisor.
The role will start as a temporary on-going basis with a mix of roughly 7.5 hours per week available.
Role Overview:
As a Lunchtime Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring that pupils have a safe, enjoyable, and positive lunchtime experience. This includes supervising children in the dining hall, playground, and classroom (during indoor lunch breaks), promoting good behaviour, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising pupils in the dining hall and outdoor play areas.
- Encouraging positive social interaction and play.
- Ensuring the safety and welfare of children at all times.
- Assisting with first aid, as required.
- Managing any behavioural issues in line with the school’s behaviour policy.
- Reporting incidents to relevant school staff.
Requirements:
- Friendly, approachable, and patient.
- Ability to build positive relationships with children and staff.
- Previous experience working with children is essential.
- 6 months childcare experience in the UK essential.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
