Description
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) Teacher to work within a local Sandwell School. The ideal candidate will have experience in both Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2) and will be skilled in managing classroom behaviour effectively.
This role will be 2 days per week and will be to start in September on an ongoing basis.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons for PPA cover across KS1 and KS2.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Effectively manage classroom behaviour and create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with other teachers to ensure continuity of learning during PPA sessions.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching in both KS1 and KS2.
- Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.
All rates are inclusive of holiday pay
