PMLD Teacher Needed at SEN School in Erdington

Position: PMLD Teacher
Location: Erdington, Birmingham
Key Responsibilities:
– Plan and deliver high-quality, tailored lessons for students with PMLD.
– Utilize a variety of teaching methods and assistive technologies to meet the diverse needs of students.
– Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including speech therapists, occupational therapists, and support staff.
– Conduct regular assessments and maintain detailed records of student progress.
– Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on their child’s development.
Qualifications and Experience:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
– Proven experience in teaching students with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).
– Strong understanding of SEN best practices and legal requirements.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to create a stimulating and safe learning environment.
– Compassionate, patient, and committed to the well-being of all students.
