Job Description:

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Supply Teachers to join our team, starting in September 2024 or later. This role offers the flexibility to choose your own working days and the opportunity to work in one school long term or across several local schools based on your preferences.

As a supply teacher you could see yourself working part time or full time, dependent on your availability and the bookings we get in. This is a great way to explore local schools around the area, without having to complete the lengthy school vacancy applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher
  • Following lesson plans provided by the school or preparing your own when necessary
  • Managing classroom behavior and ensuring a positive learning environment
  • Adapting teaching methods to suit the needs of individual students and classes
  • Engaging with students, staff, and parents to support student learning and well-being
  • Marking and assessing students’ work as required
  • Maintaining accurate records of student progress and attendance

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • DBS on update service – or willing to process one
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to providing high-quality education and fostering a positive learning atmosphere
