A primary school in West Bromwich is looking for an SEMH Teaching Assistant to join their passionate and dedicated team to help support students with SEMH.
As a SEMH Teaching Assistant you will:
- Provide one-on-one and group support to students with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment where students can flourish academically and emotionally.
- Assist students in overcoming barriers to learning and promoting positive behavior.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to develop personalised learning strategies.
- Implement effective interventions and support plans tailored to meet individual needs.
- Encourage independence, self-esteem, and resilience in students through engaging activities.
- Monitor progress and provide feedback to teachers, helping to evaluate and adapt teaching approaches.
